The Texas Star Quilters Guild works throughout the year to provide help to other non-profit organizations in the community. These include:
- Hope Pregnancy Center
- CASA of East Texas
- ABC room
- Advocacy Center
- Friends of the VZC Library
- Isaiah’s closet
- Manna Food Bank
- Beads of Courage Bags

Above:We offer Make and Take Craft Classes which are open to the community. These are held at the Van Zandt County Library and dates can be found on our calendar.
Bellow: The Members also assist with making quilts for the Quilts of Valor Project and veterans are presented with these quilts at the annual quilt show.
In addition
- Over 130 lap quilts were donated to children’s advocacy centers and nursing home residents.
- Over 100 adapted sweaters were made for nursing home residents
- Over 80 placemats were donated to Meals on Wheels recipients
- Over 100 lbs of food was donated to Manna Food Bank
